The Cyber Saguaros is a student-led club at the University of Arizona.
Our mission is to assist students in learning and practicing cybersecurity skills by training in weekly meetings (held Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm Arizona Time), competing in CTF (Capture the Flag) events, and networking with peers in the field.

What is a CTF?
A Capture the Flag competition is a cybersecurity challenge where you solve problems to find hidden strings called flags.
Common challenge categories include:
- Web
- Forensics
- Cryptography
- Reverse Engineering
- Binary Exploitation / Pwn
- OSINT
- Networking
- Miscellaneous
How to Start:
- Pick a beginner-friendly platform.
- Choose an easy challenge.
- Read the prompt carefully.
- Write down what files, links, or clues you are given.
- Try simple checks first.
- Search for concepts you do not understand.
- Ask for help when you are stuck.
- After solving, write down what worked.
